Technical diving is one of the fastest growing areas in scuba diving in Thailand today. Phuket was the location where local based technical diving instructor Mark Ellyatt, set a new world record, when he descended to his maximum depth of 313 metres on a solo dive. He also managed to complete the dive with no symptoms of decompression sickness, quite an amazing achievement. Recreational scuba divers are limited my maximum depths and bottom times. Technical divers are able to push these limits to explore depths of well beyond 40 metres. There are many spectacular wrecks which lay just outside recreational diving limits, which are only accessible to technical divers who possess that required skills and training. The DSAT / PADI Tec Deep - Price B45000

This tech course will lay the foundation of knowledge vital to all technical diving scenarios. The DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course takes you past recreational diving and immerses you in the world of technical diving. After successful completion of the DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course you'll be able to conduct gas-switch extended no-decompression dives, decompression dives and accelerated decompression dives using air and Enriched Air to a depth of 50 metres/165 feet. You'll also understand the hazards and risks involved in technical diving, as well as how to prepare for and handle reasonable foreseeable technical diving emergencies.

Minimum Requirements

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization).
PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization).
PADI Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
PADI Deep Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization).
Have a minimum of 100 logged dives of which 20 must be enriched air dives, 25 dives must be deeper than 18 metres/60 feet and at least 15 dives must be deeper than 30 metres/100 feet.
Minimum age: 18 years old.

The DSAT / PADI Tec Trimix Diver Course is for the extreme diver who likes going deeper for longer! If you want to explore the world of technical deep diving, the gas you'll need is trimix, a blend of oxygen, helium and nitrogen. The DSAT Tec Trimix Diver Course will help you push the envelope of technical deep diving and will open the door to a host of pristine virgin dive sites, maybe never seen before! The course is intended to further extend the depth range of technical divers, already trained in using Enriched Air and oxygen for decompression dives to a depth of 50 metres. Trimix divers go deeper!

Minimum Requirements

Be at least a PADI Rescue Diver or equivilent.
Be certified as a DSAT Tec Deep Diver.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have at least 150 logged dives.
