PADI Scuba Diving Courses Phuket and Phi Phi Island

Scuba diving in Phuket and Phi Phi Island offers some of the best scuba diving in the world. The Similan Islands diving area is reputed to be one of the top ten dive destinations on the planet. Learning to dive in Thailand can be a great way to spend some of your holiday. It’s a common misconception that PADI scuba diving courses will involve spending days in a classroom learning about boring scuba diving theory. We style our PADI dive courses so you will spend only a few hours in a classroom, before moving onto the fun stuff in the pool and on the dive boat. Vacations should be about having fun and relaxing and that just about sums up the growing sport of scuba diving.

Maybe you just want to try scuba diving without having to make any effort at all and for very little money? You can do exactly that, with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program . We pick you up from your hotel in the morning and ferry you to Chalong pier about twenty minutes away from Patong Beach. On the relaxing boat ride out to the dive sites, an experienced PADI instructor will go over a few important points relating to safety aspects and give you a crash-course dive briefing that will take no longer than twenty minutes. You’ll then be introduced to the scuba diving equipment you’ll be using and be entering the water to begin you’re first ever underwater adventure. You professional instructor will demonstrate a few simple scuba diving skills you’ll need to learn. These include how to clear water from inside your mask by exhaling air through your nose and how to recover and clear water from your regulator underwater. Then the fun begins and you’ll be slowly descending down to a maximum depth of 12 metres and will spend up to an hour underwater exploring the coral reefs, under the close supervision of an instructor. Guests who have a bit more time to spare and would like to learn to scuba dive properly, should have a look at our PADI scuba diving courses and think about enrolling in the PADI Open Water Course . It takes only three days and upon certification you’ll be an accomplished scuba diver, with a PADI certification that will last for life!

We offer the full range of PADI dive courses from Discover Scuba Diving all the way through to PADI Instructor and beyond. We have over 14 years of valuable experience in the dive industry in Thailand, and offer the best unbiased advice to prospective customers. We only use PADI 5 Star IDC Centres that offer the best facilities both in the dive centre and on the dive boats. Why Choose Us?

  • What we do, is book our guests online via this website, then take them to the dive centre which we know offers the best facilities in the way of classrooms, swimming pool, equipment, dive boats, trip schedules and customer service and management.
  • We can offer cheaper prices than other scuba diving agents as we minimise our overheads. We only offer the very best training facilities available in Phuket and on Koh Phi Phi.
  • Some dive centres in Phuket will run dive courses on a reef just off Patong Beach, where the visibility isn’t so good and there’s not much to see, we won’t. We’ll schedule courses so you’ll experience some of the best dive sites around Phuket and you will always be diving from a custom-built dive boat, not a long-tail boat.
  • Some dive centres will only use brand new, inexperienced instructors because they will work for free in order to gain experience. We offer all PADI scuba diving courses. Our instructors have a minimum of two years valuable experience of teaching scuba diving. Imagine of you were going into hospital for an operation, would you choose the Doctor with years of experience performing surgery, or choose the newly qualified Doctor fresh out of medical school holding a scalpel in a real life situation for the first time?
