Manta Queen Similan liveaboards offers an additional four-night Similans liveaboard with Manta Queen 6. The standard four night itinerary offers Similan scuba diving enthusiasts diving in the Similan Islands, as well as at the Manta Ray hotspot Koh Bon. Koh Tachai, which is a Similans dive site that offers a possibility for both Whalesharks and Giant Manta Rays, and the famous Richelieu Rock are also covered by the four-night Similans liveaboard dive trip. All cabins are twin bunk cabins, with semi en-suite bathrooms (Bathrooms are shared with the adjoining cabin). A smaller Similans liveaboard, en-suite cabins, at a great price!
Manta Queen 6 Similans liveaboard is a smaller compared to the other Similan liveaboards offered by the Manta Queen, but she takes few guests. The Manta Queen 6 Similans liveaboard departs from the pier close to Khao Lak. The meeting time in Khao Lak is 6:30pm to 7:00pm. We can arrange transfers from Phuket to Khao Lak, for 250 THB per person each way if requested. Transfers start at around 3:30pm from the south of Phuket. If guests need an airport transfer, they need to be ready at the airport for pick-up by 6:00pm on departure day.
Equipment is included in the price, so guests with their own full set of dive equipment will receive a 1,600 THB discount. Similan Islands National Marine Park fees are 1,800 THB per person, and are payable in cash on the boat. We charge ZERO % surcharge for all payments we take online via credit card, and we extend this offer to cover full balance payments for all Manta Queen trips, a saving of 3% to 4% depending upon which type of credit card is used for payment.

Manta Queen 6 Itinerary Transfers from Phuket can be arranged for 250 THB each way and should be arranged with us prior to the trip departure. The pick-up times in Phuket start at around 3:30pm on departure day. Airport transfers are scheduled for 6:00pm. Transfers will be to the Manta Queen offices in Khao Lak just north of Phuket. The boat will depart from Tap Lamu port very close to Khao Lak. If guests don't wish to use the transfer, they need to check in at the dive centre at Khao Lak between 6:30pm and 7:00pm. Departure Day: Guests will board the Manta Queen 6 at around 8:30pm and will have time to check their dive equipment and have a comprehensive boat briefing before enjoying some dinner on the overnight cruise to the Similan Islands. Day 1: Wake up calls we be early at around 6:30am, and guests can eat a light breakfast before the first dive at 7:30am. There will be four dives in the Similans including a dusk dive. Day 2: Two or three dives in the Similans, before heading north-east to Koh Bon to look for Manta Rays, and then onto Koh Tachai for a dusk dive. Day 3: Diving at Richelieu Rock which is one of the best dive sites in Thailand, and Koh Tachai Day 4: The final three dives of the trip could Koh Bon looking for Giant Manta Rays, with the final dive usually at the Boonsung Wreck. The boat gets back to the pier near Khao Lak at around 4:00pm and guests can transfer back to their hotels.

Price Excludes Similans National Marine Park fees at 1,800 THB, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, and dive computers. Transfers are available from Phuket / Khao Lak for 250 THB each way.
Notes Transfers (250 THB each way if required) start in the afternoon of the departure from Phuket, and work their way up to Khao Lak. For example, pick-ups in Patong Beach in Phuket hare scheduled from 4:10pm to 4:50pm, and the airport pick up at 6:00pm to 6:30pm. Guests will stop off at the office in Khao Lak to complete any paper work and pay outstanding balances, before heading to the boat moored close by at the pier in Tab Lamu. The boat departs for Similans at around 9:00pm for an overnight journey to the Similans. The boat returns to the pier three nights later at around 4:00pm, and guests can transfer back to their Khao Lak, or Phuket hotels.
Flying after diving recommendations state that after multiple dives on multiple days, divers should leave a minimum of 24 hours before flying. This translates to no flying until after 12:00pm (Midday) the day after your trip returns.
*The en-suite bathrooms are actually each shared with one other cabin. Both cabins sharing a bathroom have connecting doors to the bathroom, with locks on both sides of the bathroom doors. Guests need to lock both doors when they are inside the bathroom, to prevent unexpected visitors entering the bathroom from the adjoining cabin.
