MV West Coast Explorer

The MV West Coast Explorer is a great option for some liveaboard diving in the Similans - suiting most budgets. It's a spacious and comfortable dive boat that offers berths for up to 16 people. The Explorer has adequate space on the dive deck so there's no congestion when it's time for a dive. Dining is alfresco with a great choice of both Thai and Western foods offered on the buffets. Guests tend to rebook year after year with this boat due to the great service and awesome scuba diving. The legendary Milton from New Zealand, still makes the odd trip as the very experienced tour leader.

Booking with us early is essential for this liveaboard. It's always fairly busy as they run their trips at very competitive prices. Cabins are twin share with bunk beds. All have air-con. Bathrooms are not ensuite, but are not far from the sleeping cabins. We sell a lot of trips for this operator and are always pleased to read the positive feedback when our guests return from the trip. We promise to beat other price quotations for this boat!

The trips on the MV West Coast Explorer are a standard four days and four nights. Of course, the boat sails north to the fantastic Richelieu Rock where Whalesharks are often spotted. The trip also takes in Koh Bon, which is famed for Manta Rays, as well as Koh Tachai where both Mantas and Whale Sharks are regularly spotted. This is a great scuba diving cruise at economy prices.
