Schedules, Prices & Itinerary The Somboon III is permanently based in the Similan Islands, apart from on Wednesdays and Sundays when she makes the short trip north to Koh Bon. Although quite close to the Similans, Koh Bon offers a vastly different marine environment and Manta Rays are often encountered here. While the Somboon III is in the Similans, she will move around the islands daily ensuring a large selection of different dive sites to keep guests happy. The Similans has dozens of great dive sites to choose from!
Trips leave EVERYDAY! Hotel pick-ups are arranged for 6am and guests will be transferred to Tap Lamu just north of Phuket. From there guests transfer to MV Somboon III via speedboat which takes about one hour if the seas are calm. Stay as many nights as you like! Price Includes Transfers from Phuket or Khao Lak hotels (Patong, Karon, Kata and Chalong only - outside of these areas there will be a surcharge per person), twin share accommodation and all meals onboard, fruit, drinking water, tea, coffee, soft drinks, tanks, fills, weights, dive guides. Price Excludes Similan Islands Marine Park Fees, equipment rental, alcoholic drinks. Nitrox tanks are B300 each if required. Notes Similans Marine Park Fees cost B400 for entry into the Similan Islands and B200 per day. All Marine Park Fees are payable onboard.
A full set of equipment is available to rent for B500 per day.
