MV Panunee Thailand
The MV Panunee offers scuba diving cruises throughout the year. She spends the months of November through until May in the Andaman Sea at scuba diving destinations including the Similan Islands, the Surin Islands and Myanmar. From July until September the Panunee is based in Indonesia and visits some spectacular dive sites around Derawan like Sangalaki, Kakaban, Samama, and Maratua Islands. This is some of the best scuba diving in the world. The MV Panunee is a large, well-designed diving liveaboard that keeps guests extremely happy with her spacious luxury and extremely comfortable interior and furnishings. This is a great Thailand liveaboard at very reasonable prices and definitely an option that should be considered for scuba divers looking for something a little bit special.
 

 
 

She was designed with underwater videographers and photographers in mind. There are several rinse tanks on the expansive dive deck and two of the staterooms are specially equipped with extra lights for housing preparation, large tables and even blow guns to blow away water or dust. There is also a common multimedia room with a huge plasma TV and a DVD player. The sundeck is furnished with padded sun-beds, where guests can relax and chill out with a cool drink between dives. The whole ship is air-conditioned throughout and all cabins have individual controls to suit guests.

The yacht is packed with all the latest navigation and safety aids and surpasses international safety standards. She carries a crew of ten to cater to a maximum of twenty-two passengers and many guests return year after year. The trip to Derawan off the coast on Borneo in the Sulawesi Sea on the coastal shelf of East Kalimantan is especially recommended. Some of the dive sites there have been known to have over fifty Manta Rays cruising around! Simply amazing!
