There is a big saloon and an expansive sun deck, where guests can relax in between dives. Of course, the saloon is equipped with a TV and DVD player, as well as a stereo where guests can watch movies or plug in their iPods. Food is a mixture of Thai and Western dishes and reports from the boat are good! These boats are based in Khao Lak. Schedules, Prices & Itinerary
MV Manta Queen I offers her guests single four day and four night schedule. Fourteen great dives in the Similan Islands, as well as at superb dive sites at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and the famous Richelieu Rock are included.
Complimentary pick-ups will be arranged with guests prior to the cruise departure. The pick-up time in Patong Beach for example will be at around 3pm on departure day. Transfers will be to the Manta Queen offices in Khao Lak just north of Phuket. The boat will depart from Tap Lamu port very close to Khao Lak.
Departure Day: Guests will board the Manta Queen I at around 7pm and will have time to assemble their dive equipment, receive a comprehensive boat briefing and eat some dinner. The boat departs for the Similan Islands at around 8pm and cruises overnight while the guests relax onboard and get some sleep. Day 1: Wake up calls we be early at around 6:30am and guests can eat a light breakfast before the first dive at 7:30am. There will be three day dives and one night dive in the Similan Islands. Guests are welcome to visit the islands between dives for some fun and sightseeing. Day 2: Another four dives in the Similan Islands Day 3: Four dives at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. Day 4: Two dives at Koh Tachai and Koh Bon, before heading east back to Khao Lak where guests disembark at around 3pm. Transfer back to Phuket or Khao Lak hotel.
