The MV Le Mahe has been cruising up to the Similans Islands since her launch in 2002. Le Mahe was extensively refitted in 2007. She is a well-designed Similans Liveaboard that carries a maximum of 12 guests comfortably. All guest cabins enjoy ensuite bathrooms, mini bars, individual air-conditioning and personal TV and DVD players! There is a cosy saloon with ample seating for all the guests onboard. The saloon is equipped with a computer and an audio-visual home entertainment system so guests can edit and view underwater photographs and video. Groups on Le Mahe are kept small, usually with no more than four guests per Divemaster. Between dives, the staff regularly organise trips to the islands and beaches for relaxing and sightseeing.
The Similan Island trips are all for four days and four nights, and weather permitting will always take in fantastic dive sites such as Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock where it's common to find Whalesharks. The food onboard is reputedly excellent and is a mixture of Thai as well as Western cuisine.
